‘CLASH’ to be broadcast on BBC4, 9pm 24th September

On 24th September at 9pm CLASH, the latest short film from Fox Cub Films, directed by the fabulous Amrou Al-Kadhi and produced by Savannah James-Bayly will be broadcast on BBC4 as part of their ‘Listen to Britain’ series, in partnership with the BFI.

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of ‘Listen To Britain’ – Humphrey Jennings and Stewart McAllister’s post-war propaganda film, which painted a poetic collage of a thriving and harmonious Britain – BBC4 in partnership with BFI Net.Work, commissioned a group of emerging filmmakers to capture the diversity of contemporary Britain in a series of new short films.

CLASH responded to this brief by considered the UK’s obsession with period dramas despite their failure to reflect modern diversity, and what it means for those excluded from this vision of Britain. Thanks to all the brilliant people whose work and support made it happen.

Be sure to tune in! You can also catch it on the big screen at BFI Southbank on 19th September! https://whatson.bfi.org.uk/Online/default.asp…
